Be The Cause

Be the cause.

Be the cause.

Be the cause.

What does this mean? What in the world does this mean? This is actually the way that we should seek to be involved with the issues of social justice going on in the world. This is the spirit that we should have about the social ills in the world community. This is the way that we need to support those suffering in the world. We need to not only help these causes - we need to be the cause.

Being the cause is so much more than the normal financial support and two hours once a month on the weekends. It is more than kind of knowing what is going on with the people in that one African country. Being the cause is immersing yourself in the problems, injustices, and suffering of people around the world. Being the cause is experiencing solidarity with people who are living in the conditions of extreme poverty - realizing their plight, supporting them in realistic and meaningful ways, and living out your life without forgetting theirs.

We've got to do better. For them.

Up the anty. Experience solidarity. Be the cause.
